John paid us a visit for a bath and a clip today. Just a lovely dog, but very nervous the first time out away from his mates in the pound.
When bathing John this arvo we noticed that he had dual (two) dew claws on each rear leg..maybe he has some dark secrets from the Newfoundland gene pool.
We were sorry to see John go back to the pound. Don't you just wish you could keep all the homeless dogs. Homeless is harsh as all the dogs at APASA are well looked after. Our own dog Chenoa was an intern at APASA for eighteen months and only took 5 minutes to settle in with us, as well as enjoy the company of the numerous dogs that rock into Doggy Style on a daily basis.
Every Thursday we try to take some dogs in need of a tidy up from the pound. John went out looking the part, but is probably more likely happier back with his mates at the pound.
